Dynamips with local and remote hypervisors?
Hey guys,
I have a core 2 duo laptop with 4 gigs of RAM. It will barely do the INE topology with 75% CPU load. I have a HTPC which is also a core 2 duo with 2 gigs of RAM. I want to split the load between these two computers.
Does anyone have experience with this? In the net file I know I should set the IP and port to the remote hypervisor but what more do I need to do?
My laptop runs Ubuntu when I lab and the other computer runs Windows XP. In my .net file I have edited with the IP for the remote hypervisor but something is not clicking. How do I start multiple hypervisors in Windows XP and how do I set the UDP port so they don't collide with the ports on the Ubuntu box? Thanks for your help.

i wrote a blog post on how to run it on seperate pcs. its not very hard. the thing is to make sure the ports are open between the boxes. i would also suggest using a direct link with a crossover between them.
