in CCNA & CCENT
If you configured IGRP or EIGRP and just use bandwidth as the routing metric to find the best path would the result be the same as if you were using shortest path to find the best route?

I don't think that would apply in all cases.
ex: If the 2 choices of paths were through 1 64Kbps connection, or through 3 T1 line connections, the shortest path would be the slowest, and the routing protocol would choose the faster, but longer one.
