    thanks for the link - I think I might look at the Security+ before I think about taking the 220 exam just to get the foundation of security first. Admittedly, this is my weak spot and the one that most employers will want you to be strong in.

    I am starting to study for Security+ in a week or so. Here is a good resource for anyone considering this option.

    Buy.com has a listing for Mike Meyers' Security + Certification Passport - currently on order.
    For further reference I will be using Peter Norton's Network Security Fundamentals and Security Complete from Sybex.
    Coupled with the Learnkey CBT it should be a reasonable task.
