CCNA Security vs CCNP Security Secure

Hi fellas, I want to know your thoughts on the following. Is it me or does it seem the CCNA security topics encompass half of what the CCNP Security Secure book discusses? Just wondering if it isn't too bad of an idea to study for both exams at the same time, possibly take them a month or two apart, speaking realistically of my time and study habits.

I'd have to agree chris, looks very similar.
If you're a CCNP from the old curriculum the ISCW will help you quite a bit since I swear half the material I read for it was meant for the ISCW when I was taking the CCNA Security.
How soon do you plan to take the exams?
I want to wrap up all 3 of the CCNP exams by the end of the summer this year if I find the time, and will be looking at secure for a final exam this year. -

These were my thoughts on the IINS and SNRS, as well. I just wrote IINS this morning and I will be beginning SNRS studies immediately. I really want to try and knock out SNRS, SNAF, and SNAA before April, but I will be happy if I just get SNRS and SNAF. No real rush beyond the fact that these exams are no longer available as of April 1st, and there will not be many materials for the new exams until June/July. How soon do you plan to take the exams?
I am still studying for my CCDP, I plan on taking the CCDP late feb or early march.
Then start studying for the CCNA security in March and take it in late MAY.
In June i will start studying for for the CCNP Security Secure, which i hope i can take in august because i hope half of the material in the CCNP Security Secure I would have already covered in the CCNA Security.
I figured i can use 2 to 3 more months to knock out the CCNP security secure with the help of the CCNA security since it covers half of the material.

Wow Cisco security track is getting broad, I started CCNA Securit, so hopefuly I can start looking at VPN Security, I am still gunning wrapping my CCNP, but with CCSP on the horizon it looks like things will be changing with my plans as well other people on the same page as me...
