It seems as VMware are publishing new desktop certifications for their VDI solution, View.

Look here:
VMware Certified Associate 4 - Desktop

Yet another cert for us to get :)

    I believe that there will also be a pro (VCP-DT) and advanced pro (VCAP-DT) for the desktop series in due course.

    Wow, interesting.... Looks like no course is required to take this exam and get certified, if I'm not mistaken.

    Logical. Citrix has a XenDesktop CCA and Microsoft has an MCTS, although it's an overall virtualization certification. No course requirement is really nice though.

    Yea no course is great thing, it's really hard to find and expensive, will take a look at it.

    The next tier for the desktop certification with be above VCP and will require VCP as a pre-requisite. Then there will be a VCAP level in the future.
