What I can tell you is all degree programs are different, so you really need to look at the course outline. If you have a BS you might be able to obtain your masters through online studies.

I'm currently in the Masters program in Information Security at Capella University (www.capella.edu) and I like it a lot. It's one of the better distance learning universities available in the USA today. The only other DL InfoSec program I've seen advertised is the one at Norwich University. I've not heard anything about it one way or the other.

When researching online education in the USA, start with Degree.net (http://www.degree.net/). You might also have a look at the info on RateMyProfessors.com ( http://ratemyprofessors.com/) to get an idea of what students think of the faculty.

There are a lot of options. If you have a BS, thare are a lot of US based universities that offer a DL Master degree in infosec. If you don't have a BS, your best bet is a UK or Australia based university (University of London or Charles Sturt for example).

As I have done quite some reseach in the matter, feel free to ask more questions, good luck :)

Hey blacksun - I haven't got my masters yet, so not sure how much help I'll be. But I agree with the post above by Munck - it definitely helps if you have a BS. There's some online universities (that are accredited) that offer some good programs, so maybe start there? I think http://www.mastersdegree.net has some good info, but also maybe check out http://www.bschool.com ? Hopefully one of those sites will point you in the right direction to finding somewhere that fits your needs and wants. Good luck with everything! icon_thumright.gif
