I have my Security + and now have the SSCP but don't have the experience for the CISSP and wanted some ideas on what exam to do next?

I guess it depends on what you want to do. If you want to stay on the security side of things, maybe consider one of the SANS certs (GSEC and GCIH are usually good starting points, but if you have your SSCP and Sec + you might want to skip the GSEC as it will be old hat to you). If you are interested more in OS, maybe look at the MCITP:SA/EA if you are in to Microsoft, RHCE for Red Hat. If Network is your cup of tea, maybe CCNA. If you are in to virtualization, maybe some of VMWare certs? Of course there is always the CE|H. It just depends on what you are interested in/career direction, and what your budget is. Remember, any of the courses you take can count towards CPE's for maintaining your SSCP.

No problem. The one rub about SANS is if you want to take one of the courses, they can be kind of pricey (not to mention the test).

Congrats. How much security experience did you have going into this? (did you go in with just study and security+ knowledge or do you have job experience in security) I am thinking of taking this soon so I am just curious.

If you want to stay security then there is a lot of options.
