can not ping btw two olive emulated juniper routers

Hi

I start up two Juniper routers and connect them back to back on int:em5 with IP addresses. I'm not able PING in between then. Any idea what's missing?

    Can you try posting some config? do both of your olives start up ok? what are you running your olives in etc?

    Hi,

    Configuration is very basic, as follow:

    junos1: set interface em5 unit 0 family inet address 10.10.10.1/24

    junos2: set interface em5 unit 0 family inet address 10.10.10.2/24

    then: junos1: ping 10.10.10.2

    PING: 10.10.10.2 (10.10.10.2): 56 date bytes

    That's all the response I get

    Hmm, nothing sticks out to me there. Although I'm not to familiar with emulated olives. Can anybody with experience chime in?

    How did you connect the two olives? May be you did a mistake. Can you give us the code you used?
