SSCP! Recommendations for learning and practice materials
Hi,
I read through the threads and found a lot of information regarding SSCP materials! But want to get the latest and recommended materials for learning and practicing.
I have the ISC book (Auerbach,Official ISC2 guide to the SSCP CBK 2007) but I can see a newer version for it and the reviews in Amazon are not good for the newer version.
Please assist!

I have bought the new book but have not started to read it yet. I also haven't looked at the old book so as far as that goes I can't really give any opinion other than the new book and the videos is what I will be using. Sorry I cant be more help. -

Thanx a lot for the information!
The blog is really good and informative, but it was form 2008 so you don't think that any thing changed since then? -

The second edition of their SSCP official book has come out. I'm not sure how much that changes the exam though. -
OptionsJDMurray Admin Posts: 13,031 AdminThe (ISC)2 exams change gradually over time, rather than stay the same for years and then suddenly get a major overhaul, like CompTIA exams do. Get the new study guide and have a look through the study references in the SSCP CIB and you should do fine. The is SSCP more to the entry-level side than the professional side.
