Few Questions

I read the question somewhere but am a bit confused..... Although the questions might seem wired i got it in the same way...

Lets say that a company has 4 IP addresses and 25 computers that are to be constantly connected to the internet .. What should the company use and why?

Dynamic NAT
Dynamic NAT with overload (PAT)

What I think is if the company can manage with just 1 IP address using PAT what is the significance of having 4 addresses here?

A company's Head Office wants to connect remote location but the head office has run out of ports on the head office router! which WAN service should it use to connect to remote location??

I think the signficance would be the point of having dynamic ability with an overload PAT. In this case, you can take all 4 active IP adxs and apply PAT across the pool. Even though you can use only 1 ip adx to cover all 25 comps... putting it in a pool will assist in connections.

If you know the answer, the quesiton is so blatantly obvious that you think they are trying to trick you. I think it is just an obvious answer.

I think Noods its right with the assumption that it is just a bit of a trick question for an associates level of knowledge. Nat overload is the only answer.

Frame relay, but again they dont include enough information, like what they are currently using for access, what ports are they using, and do they have a modular access router that they could put a WIC or NM in.

The questions are as such and i didnot add or remove any information!!! I think its just to keep us guessing!

A friend of mine gave me some print outs which i read for the exams...And it doesnt provides me the link where it comes from.. So i am not sure myself

running out of physical ports ?
1. overlapping NAT
2. tunnel interface

I dont have many dealings with the Netops guys, let alone the Cisco team; Im on the server team. Trying to make my way to the Cisco netops team. But, I have been pinging a few questions off of the consultants on the cisco team, so I suppose I could ask them, if anyone would know it should be them. I would say the sales guys but they get all their answers from the consultants anyways

WAN services?
for me WAN type services is not all about physical interfaces you have on your box - but any kind of WAN protocols that can run via any interfaces in your box.
example : A/S interface can go pure ATM or just synchronous frame-relay.

yes - and a tunnel interface means a VPN connection.
