Excellent Site
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has contributed. I have not been working in IT for very long and the contributions to this site have helped me to pass both the Sec+ and the Net+.
I do not have much to contribute that has not been added, but here is what I think.
I used two books - Exam Cram and Sec+ for Dummies in addition to the site. I adhered to standard protocol in taking the test when I had read both books and could pass all tests with a 90+. Pay attention to the ports as there were a few specific questions regarding ports. (Easy correct answer - no second guessing and straight forward.) The tect notes are right on-line.
Finally, if there are any suggestions or recommendations for additional security certs outside the CISSP please pass along.

- CEH (certified ethical hacker)
- CheckPoint firewall certs
- CCSP or any of the Cisco specialist certs (IDS, PIX, etc.)
