pim sparse-dense and dynamips
Anyone had these messages before when using PIM sparse-dense on dynamips? IOS is c7200-a3jk9s-mz.124-25e.bin. I don't seem to be getting the same thing when using real gear which makes me suspect dynamips. it just bounces over and over and gives the same console message.

Cisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik...

Although I have not really messed with GNS3 Multicast Labs, I can assure you that, GNS3 does have bugs in it and not every aspect of IOS is flawless. Haven't deen it in GNS3 but I used to work with multicast a lot and always saw this error if an interface flapped for any reason.Going all out for Voice. Don't worry Data; I'll never forget you

It looks like the underlying problem is dropped packets between Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. It's dropping about 5% of the packets sent. I may try a different IOS image or router type and see what happensCisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik... -

I've got a pretty good idle cpu...sits around 3-4 percent when i'm not doing anything and goes up to about 50-60 percent when i'm trying to pass traffic. This is with 7 7200s. I've got 2GB ram on Windows 7Cisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik...
