I just passed the Security exam with 911/1000
It's funny that I got 911 the same day Bin Laden got killed lol...anyway
Big thanks to this community and especially Mike for his invaluable notes...seriously!
Most of all though, gotta thank God 'cause man...I was so nervous at first. $250 was a lot of money to fail (especially on my salary
)...but yeah. I prayed and actually sang a few songs out loud (I was the only on in the room 
) and I calmed right down and nailed the exam.
Moving on to the CCNP Security track now

Thanks guys! Can't wait to move on. Next up is the SECURE exam =]
I used GNS3 and the Sybex CCNA Security Study guide. After that I pretty much went through Mike's notes and the CCNA Security quick reference e-book (just $10 on Amazon) almost exclusively all of last week to just keep the main topics in my head.
Most of what I did with GNS was to play with SDM and learn it inside out...didn't really focus on connecting multiple devices and all that. -

Congrats! I hope to take the CCNA:S pretty soon. I read the Sybex book and have gone through Skillport (Since work provides it, why not). Now I just need to hit the labs. I'm waiting on my lab book though.
