I passed this exam sometime late last year. October/November. I used the transcender questions which included some simulations.

Those exams you listed will get you to MCSE:

The 70-270 and 70-680 are both client exams. One will be used for the client exam and the other for the elective. If you have any certifications already (A+/Net+ or Security+ ect) then you might already have your elective out of the way and would only need to take one of these.

    70-290, 70-291,70-293, and 70-294 are all required.

Then the 70-297 would be your design elective.

If you can use 70-680 for your MCSE take that one instead of 70-270. I believe that 680 would count for both the MCSE and MCITP.

293 was a royal pain - it had around 50 LONG questions and it took me well over 2 hours to complete it. Each question seemed like a book and by the time you get to the answers you will forget half of what you read.

The MS Press questions with the CD were good and Transcender is very good. You can use selftest in place of Transcender to save some money, as both sets of questions are similar.

    Good luck.

Correct, the 680 can be used for both.

Todd, which design exam did you take?
