ISC2 'Pre-Review' Experience for Endorsement?

Please forgive me if this has been discussed...

So recently I've been talking to a lot of folks here at work who have their CISSP and I've been saying I'm going to try for mine in Dec '11/Jan '12. Two of the folks I spoke with mentioned that ISC2 (at one point) had a way for you to submit a resume to get a 'high level' review to find out about how much experience you have; in other words, which exam you should take. I have searched and don't find much... is this something that they do? The guys seem to think I'd have a few years, not sure if its 5 or less...

I appreciate any guidance, just want to make sure I take the right steps that I need!

Email registrar@isc2.org and ask if they do a pre-audit. You can always take the CISSP exam regardless of your current experience and become an "Associate of the (ISC)2" once you pass. After that, you are given six years to accumulate the necessary professional experience for full CISSP certification.

Not sure where it is, but they have a sample resume format that may be what you are referring to.
