I'm taking my Network+ at the end of the month and i'm thinking of moving on to MCSA. Anyone know what good book out there would give me a solid foundation? And how hard are these test if I'm not currently working with these operating systems.. I have my A+ now moving on to my network+ and been using computers since the early 90's.

I would suggest either the Sybex book, and Exam Cram books, and any online tests you can find

Future planned exams are as follows: CCNA, Windows 2003 Server 70-290

"Like the Roman, I see the Tiber foaming with so much blood"

    Enoch Powell 1968

"We died in hell, they called it Passchendaele"

I used W2KPro Training Kit (from Microsoft), W2K Resource Kit (pretty much need it if you are using the training kit), Transcender & a free ExamCram simulator.

I used Sybex for A+ & Network + & thought they were very good. People seem to really like Sybex for W2KPro as well. I would think that you would save yourself A LOT of time using Sybex but would be more knowledgeable using Microsoft exam material.

If you write 70-210 be prepared for very long questions. Although 2 hours seems like a lot of time it really flys by quickly.

    Good Luck
