OptionsMC85 Member Posts: 20 ■□□□□□□□□□My commute is 2 hrs one way. Right at 100 miles. Back roads slow me down. I work 4 10 hour shifts. So I am gone 14 hours a day. It sucks and now I'm starting to have car trouble. Trying to find job closer to home is a b!@#$.
That's crazy. You might want to think about moving closer to the job if you don't find anything closer to you. I can't imagine what you spend on gas... -

OptionsMichael.J.Palmer Member Posts: 407 ■■■□□□□□□□When I was working in the office I had about two and a half hours commute round trip for work.
Luckily since my job entails remoting into client servers and fixing problems remotely anyways I was able to talk my boss into letting me cut the commute out altogether and now I work from home.-Michael Palmer

OptionsEssendon Member Posts: 4,546 ■■■■■■■■■■About 2.5 hours of peak hour driving for me, the morning run is worse. About 55 kms each way. I wish I could have some audio tech podcasts to listen to while sitting in traffic, but it apparently drives my missus nuts - so I dont get to play it.

Commuting sucks and (imo) is not worth it.2011 Goals: 70-433 | 70-432 -
OptionsBokeh Member Posts: 1,636 ■■■■■■■□□□22.5 miles each way. If I leave an hour before I start, it can easily take an hour. Leave 90 mins prior and I can be there in 25 mins.
Coming home is always an hour commute unless I wait two hours. So its best to do my running around on that side of town before heading home. -
Optionsrsutton Member Posts: 1,029 ■■■■■□□□□□My commute is anywhere from 18 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. I would not commute more than an hour if I could help it.
