    I am set to receive Email from other members, but I don't have access to PMs. Can somebody still send me a PM or do I need a forum moderator to grant me PM ability first?

    Update: I found a second email had arrived in my Spam folder when I registered. I replied to it, so I should be granted PM ability sooner than later. Otherwise, it takes 10 posts to get PM ability. Once I can PM, I will be able to ask for a WGU referral code. (I'm leaving my previous question up and giving this explanation, so others can figure it out, as well.

    I appreciate folks on here refer people on to WGU, but the curiosity is killing me - do you guys get a monetary benefit out of referring people on? Or is just showing some love?

    I'm not sure about that anymore. As I read this morning we just get some WGU Mechandise.

    I don't believe we will always get the gift card. When we refer prospective applicants, we don't get the gifts immediately after they applied. Here's the permalink to the thread where I mentioned this.

    I have recieved two wood WGU engraved pen and pencil sets for two of my referals. Awaiting the gifts for the remaining 10+ referals. Wish it was WGU merchandise increasing in value. maybe travel mug next, t-shirt, then a hoodie, polo, or oxford. But, I am only expecting more pen and pencil sets.
