After studying for a month, I went and took the exam earlier this morning around 10AM. I heard it was the hardest, but it ended up being the easiest for me. The answers were pretty basic, and just dealt with things you would know if you read the books enough.

I had trouble finding a good Security book. I found and read Sybex's Security+ Fastpass, Thompson's Security+ textbook, and some books on CISSP. I went through thousands of practice tests and also talked with some network administrators I've worked with to hear about security from someone who knows how it works in a real world.

Overall, I'm just glad to throw my books and notes in the air and start preparing for my CCNA. Linux+ struck me as something I might consider taking in the future as well, since Unix/Linux is such a tremendous topic. A friend recommended I try two of the three BSDs, which I plan to download soon.

Present goals: MCAS, MCSA, 70-680
