taking 702 today and 701 tomorrow - Doing Labsim through WGU and getting about 84% average on practice tests. Any suggestions on what I need to focus on? Besides everything of course. :D

I passed 702 with a 779. Oddly enough it seemed a majority of the questions were on windows 7 stuff that labsim didn't cover. Hmmm? Should I worry about 701 today?

Congratulations. I wouldn't worry about the 701 if you passed the 702 yesterday. You'll do fine.

CompTIA updated the objectives to include Windows 7 (and some other items) early in 2011 but didn't change the exam numbers so there is a lot of material out there that doesn't include Windows 7. Apparently you knew enough to get you by.

For perspective, the 702 has 34% on Operating Systems (which can include Windows 7), and the 701 has 20% on Operating Systems and Software. And the passing score for 701 is 675. Let us know how you do, but I'm betting you won't have any problems.

I passed with a 811. I thought I had failed, but my saving grace is that we started deploying Windows 7 last year so i have more than a basic familiarity with it. Now to figure out a way to leverage my Security + and A+ into a new job closer to home. This commuting every week sucks.

    Cpngrats on the new cert!
I know about the weekly commute as that is what I do at my current job and it sucks.
No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
