Im at a loss for words....

I have been using email for 12+ years now, I have gotten more spam than there is hair left on my noggin. But lately I have been getting just the weirdest, strangest, most ridiculous messages ever. They advertise nothing at all, I can only surmise that they are trying to find out of the account exists, but i keep getting them No more viagra or **** plugs, just these weird ones, oh, and I know all the insider trader iinformation on the stock market to.

Maybe they are tests to try and figure out how to defeat some of the new heuristic spam detection software and hardware.

But won't it make the the Spam filters pick up emails full of random garbage as spam?

That could equally apply to many of the "genuine" emails that I receive from people at my job on a daily basis

I think I am going to make a book - Poetry, the SPAM verses. I can claim that its my sole intelectual property since no spammer would fess up to it.

I guessed right. So now our mailboxes will fill up even faster since the spam will grow by the length of the poems. Spam filters... no good deed goes unpunished. Oh well.

These spam messages are put together by a program that cuts and pastes together passages from well known classics at random. That's why you see some sentences that have that classical air about them. And, of course, some are just complete nonsense.

But I agree with you; these things would probably be a good source of humor after reading a chapter from your BSCI book.

So what are your thoughts on the seemingly completely 'blank' spam messages?

Nothing in the header to trace...nothing is there. The message appears white (even highlighted looking for small text that might be in white, nothing found). I don't see them often, but I've had them at my work as well as personal addressess, and those are not addresses I give out, so they'd be random at best.
