Can I use any power cord that will fit into the cisco switch or do I need a specific kind? Where can I find it?

Thanks.

With the exception of some of the larger switches, every switch I've worked with used a standard power cord - the same type as your PC or monitor.

    Thats an IEC connector/cord - IEC 60320 C13 and C14

Should be able to get them from any computer shop, any electrical shop , etc
Even can get them in some supermarkets.

Just avoid the really thin ones that get warm when the equipment is running due to the conductors being to thin. They should not get warm.
Goals CCNA by dec 2013, CCNP by end of 2014
