Hello All,
A role will be opening early next year (Jan/Feb) for a McAfee Administrator at my workplace. I have been told that if i were to be certified i would be a front runner for the role.
Here is my question, I would like to sit the MA0-100 (McAfee Certified Product Specialist-ePO) exam, but unfortunatley in order to sit the exam i must sign up to a $3200 in class training session which i cannot aford at this stage.
I have searched every where for books/materials to purchase in order to be able to sit the exam but i have found nothing but brain ****.
Anyone out there that can guide me in the right direction..

I can't imagine that anyone would take that cert without having an employer pay for it. I honestly didn't know McAfee had certifications. I can't see any value in you spending your time or money for that one job -- unless your employer pays for it, of course.

wtf, Mcafee have certifications?! i really didnt know that. i agree with ptilsen though, i wouldnt pay for it. Concentrate elsewhere.Xbox Live: Bring It On

Certainly - move on and find a more worthwhile cert that doesn't cost $3200!

O their ePO product how I love it and at the same time hate it. Guh =/ I should be getting sent to the advance training with the product in the next couple of months (govt pays for it so that means I eat at all the best restaurants!). Right now I have over a year experience with the product and to be honest you can make a full time job out of this seriously.

Courses and certifications are typically a part of the educational program provided by a technology product/service vendor. Vendors expect business customers to pay for the training/certification and not individuals, hence the high price for the professional training. Pricing is based on "what the market will bear."
