Caller Id unknown for just AT&T?

This may very well be just a carrier issue but when our h.323 gw calls any at&t pstn number, the caller id shows up as unknown. However with any other major carrier, our number shows up correctly. Thoughts?

    The caller id on the recipient just says "unknown".

    Thats a provider problem.

    Digging into this a little further and I think it's because the gateway is isdn map address . plan unknown type unknown from the pri interfaces. Could this be why? I was on the phone with carrier support and they suggested changing the plan to isdn and type to national.

    I usually use unknown for all outbound calling except for Intl which they are a little picky on. I'm not sure why is causing those problems, but all outbound caller ID should be handled by the carrier with the name.

    Thats true, the outbound caller ID should be handle by the carrier.

    Most likely this is a carrier issue.
