Security protocols and encryption protocols

Anyone have a good resource for getting complete details on these? This is not my strongest area and I know the exam will hit this:

As far as I know now the security protocols supported by XP are:
PAP, SPAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP, MS-CHAPv2 (strongest)

Encryption:
WEP, WPA (with SP2)

Thanks!

I havent seen many questions on protocols on the exam... just one.

You'll wanna know what the strongest forms are....

    ie...

    Ms-chapv2
    EAP

And how they are used. Really basic you wont need to spend more than 10-15mins learning it.

I think the biggest thing to know is EAP is required when you use smart cards and that MS-CHAPv2 is the highest in security. I studied the security protocols until I knew them every direction but only had one question on it.

I agree you don't need to know them inside out untill you hit 70-291, just know those 2 mentioned above and you should be fine.

I don't think I even had 1 question on them when I took mine.. icon_eek.gif

be sure to know the defaults though, and what protocol is used with smart cards (EAP-TLS).

and remember its better to know too much rather than too little.
