Hi all,
Regarding the onscreen calculator that comes with the 70-291 exam - does it have the "scientific mode?" ie.. is it capable of doing binary-decimal conversions? Or is it pretty much the basic calculator?
Just wondering if I should practice my subnetting more. I can certainly do binary conversions, but they slow me down a little.

In the 290 it was a scientific calculator, so I guess it'll be the same?

When i sat this exam there definately was not any scientific mode and was unable to do binary (not that i needed to!). was jus a basic calculator so i would watch out!!

make sure you can calculate subnet address ranges, and so know whether 2 ip addresses are on the same subnet. VLSM's as well, got a question about this in the exam.
