Yeah I got this email as well from Prometric yesterday

Kind of worked out perfectly since I am taking a Windows 7 exam in two weeks.

I wasn't looking towards getting the Windows 8 client exam right away but hey its free...I'll take it

Yeah, got that. But as I've already got the Win7 and Win2008 exam done already, it doesn't help me...
