Passed Project+ today.

I passed with a 883, not bad. I used the WGU learning resource (IT Project Management: On Track from Start to Finish, Third Edition by Joseph Phillips) but I converted it to audio and listened to the whole thing while reading along three times. It seemed to help.
Thanks, Tom

Thanks. I'm not really leaning towards management, at least not above the lead level. I like working with the technology too much to go that route, at least for now. :)
    Thanks, Tom

Congrats man, I'm planning to take this exam in about 2 mos from now. Was it just completely the book or did you use any of the uCertify materials as well?
  • TLeTourneauTLeTourneau Member Posts: 616 ■■■■■■■■□□
Thanks. I just used the book but it was not new material for me so that may have had something to do with it too.
    Thanks, Tom

Did you find the Project+ material dry? I haven't studied for a project mgt certification yet, but I'm kind of dreading it.

It's a bit dry, that's why I converted it to audio and read along. It really helped my stay focused on the material.
    Thanks, Tom

Hearty congratulations dude....I am now presently reading sybex book. Could you please share the audio file ...as listening may be easier than reading those 600 pages...

    Thanks

Congrats on passing and with a great score! icon_thumright.gif TPV1 was my first course at WGU and I wish I would have thought to convert it to audio! I read through the same textbook once and used uCertify, and it was a lot of material to get through. Glad it's over and glad it's a lifetime certification. icon_cheers.gif

    Hi Arun,

Thanks for the congrats! I'd like to share the files but it is still copyrighted material, sorry icon_sad.gif. I use a program called Text Aloud to do the conversions though, it's fairly inexpensive and you can use it with anything that lets you copy and paste text.
    Thanks, Tom
