passed the core exam in 2004, took the OS technologies exam today and passed it with a 572. Thank God I thought. So how long before I get the cert in the mail?

It will take Comptia a few days to update their systems. I received my certificate in a couple of weeks.Your wait time could be shorter or longer. The paper is nothing, you are officially A+ certified. Congrats!

As he said papers are nothing... you're already a A+ Certified Professional.
But, when you get your Papers... then you will say "I AM CERTIFIED WOW"

    Congrats man.
Take about 10 bussiness days to get it. Its well worth the wait.
BTW go to comptia.org and update your profile, I think it helps to get the papers early.

It could take up to 4-6 weeks, but I would expect it much sooner.

cool, whats next? Probaly an entry level job, I can finally kiss Mcdonalds goodbye. In the future although I'm not sure, I may go for an MCP cert. Something microsoft so it can be recognized in another country.
