I took a Networks and Security class this past semester at George Mason University. The teacher said his class would prepare you for the Networks + Exam. For a textbook, we used Mike Myers "Managing and Troubleshooting Networks" (Full Color). I ended up getting an A in the class, and decided to register for the Networks + Exam, while the information was still fresh in my brain. The course material at GMU covered about 90% of the Networks + material. (2009 004 exam).
I studied the textbook for a few days before sitting the exam this afternoon. This exam is NOT easy. But, I managed to pass with a 765. I guess I could've done better if I studied more. But, I'm happy with the passing grade. I think I put in the least amount of effort needed to pass this exam. A Pass is a Pass, right?

Congratulations. Yes, a pass is a pass.
With the Network+ exam behind you, you are very close to passing the Security+ exam too if you wanted to. -

Well done Wolfgang, and yer, a pass is a pass, and at the end of the day that's what matters when gaining a cert. I'd seriously doubt that you would have any prospective employers that want to know your exam score. What's up next, A+, Sec+, Server+, CCENT or other?The Wings of Technology -

Actually... my next class at GMU is called Managing Technology Projects, which supposedly prepares you for CAPM certification. (Certified Associate in Project Management). Haven't decided if I'm going to go that route. I need a break from the exam cram rat-race.
The Security+ Exam may be in my near future. I graduate in the Fall, and may look into the CyberSecurity Masters Program at Mason.
