I don't think that I would worry too much about that. Meyers has a question about that on his practice test, but I haven't heard of anyone getting a tool question on the CompTIA exam.
Mike has a list of things he says is necessary, but from experience I have used a lot more - the manufacturer of the computer kind of leads there as lately I have run across both TORX and STORX (os is the TORXS) on a couple systems.
If I was doing a list it would include;
Phillips Screwdriver - #1 & #3
Blade Screwdriver - #2
Long Nose Pliers
Hog Bristle Brush
3/16 hex driver
long nose tweezers
Wrist Strap
Multi Tester
That would be a bare minimum - my kit is about treble that .... lol

tools may not be questioned on, but the ones that could arise are multimeters, drivers, chip-pullers.
