Right now im working as a System Administrator and this is how my experience pans out. for 7 months i worked as a tech/admin at a company who had a mobile computer lab and now ive been at my current job for 1 and 6 months. right now i have my network+ and im currently working on my mcse im starting off with mcp 70-294 I worked with
Operating Systems
1.Novell Netware 4.11, 6.5
2. Windows 95,98,200,xp and 2003 server
3. Linux distros (Slackware, Redhat, Suse,Mandrake and Ubuntu)
4. Unix distros Freebsd, Openbsd
Services/Products
1. Novell Groupwise 5.5 and 6.5
2. Linux Sendmail version 8.12
3. Active Directory 2003 currently migrating to MS Exchange 2003
4. Novell Edirectory and LDAP version 8.7.7 , Novell NDS
with these skills that i have listed will this help me land a better job when its time for me to leave ?

It looks like you have the skills to move on when you are ready. There ins't a lot of novell out there though. I work for IBM and the account I am working on has about 4000 servers and out of them there is only 4 novell servers in a cubix. The rest are a mix of NT, Solaris, AIX and RedHat. As long as you have these skills you should be set to go where ever you want. But then again there may be some companies that still run Novell and need those skills. To be honest with you I got my CNA back in 97 when I left the military and haven't used it since.

Investigate any offers by:
checking the company you intend to go to with the BBB
Use the internet get their historyand check their stability
Look for information from other sources on their turnover rate
