Performance based questions

I have got the exam on Friday and I have found the following for a very reliable source
Performance-based questions require the test-taker to perform a task or solve a problem in a simulated environment to show that they have the necessary skills to go along with their knowledge (which is often assessed through multiple-choice questions). CompTIA has announced that the new performance-based questions will start appearing on Security+ exams beginning January 5, 2013. Anyone who takes that test on or after that date will see these new questions in addition to the regular multiple-choice questions. These new questions will also be added to A+ exams (220-801 and 220-801) in October and to Network+ exams on November 4.

Hmm Well I start my Comptia exams right after this when I go to WGU Next month... im guessing the books for the 701 will be good enough?
Pretty much the same thing happeend when I graduated high school in 2007 they changed the A+ to the new format... lol -

Hey, Where did you find out that theyre adding performance based questions in Net+ and Sec+? I thought thats just for the 800 A+ examsA.S. - Computer Networking Student (Spring 2014)
