What's the difference between SPFB (segments, Packets, Frame
I keep seeing segments, packets, frames, and bits.
Are each how data is described/broken down as it travels across different layers of the OSI?
The words segement and frame especially confuse me.![icon_cry.gif](https://us.v-cdn.net/6030959/uploads/images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)
By the way, this forum is great!
Thanks.

Hi and welcome on board!
Have you read my OSI model TechNotes yet? In particular the part about encapsulation:www.techexams.net/technotes/networkplus/osimodel.shtml

Oops, i didn't notice those exact notes. Thanks.
The notes are awesome!
I'm taking the exam in a couple of days. I've studied quite a bit!
However, i feel like this is a lot for one exam. I've passed the A+ previously, and eventually want to go for MCSA.
However, if i find Network + a lot to study for, i assume MCSA will be hard??
By the way, are 2 of the electives for MCSA still Net+ and A+?
Thanks. -

Yes you can still use Net+ and A+ as electivesAncient Certs:
Exam 70-064: Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows® 95
Exam 70-067: Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0
