Hello everyone,

I passed my CISSP on Nov 14th, 2012

I just wanted to thank everyone who has taken the time to post about their experiences etc.

Study Material :
1. Shon Harris AIO 5th Ed.
2. CISSP 11th Hour Study Guide
3. CISSP Exam Cram (2nd Edition)
4. Paid subscription to CCCure quiz.
5. InfoSec Institute Classroom led 5 day training

The test was more logical than technical. I spent way too much time studying nuts and bolts regarding Crypto and OSI etc. which wasn't time well spent. My best suggestion is, put on your MANAGER hat and chose the best logical answer from a manager's perspective.

Overall it was a well crafted exam where you apply knowledge rather than regurgitate memorization.

Again - Thanks!

Did you find the CISSP 11th Hour Study Guide beneficial? I have access to an online version through work and was wondering if that might be a good last week read.

    Oh and Congrats!

    Congrats!!

So you did not touch the ICS² CISSP book at all?

How did you find the Shon Harris AIO?

And would the first three study materials be sufficient enough? I'm more te reading-book-type then the classroom guy as I have issues with focussing on someone explaining everything not fast enough...
