Hey Everyone,
I couldn't find any other thread similar to this after searching for a while, so I wanted to get one going. It would be great if everyone could post pictures of their current home or work lab (Big or Small). Hopefully we can get the CCNP/CCIE folks to post in here as well.

I notice the digicam as well as the 2511 RJ terminal server. Which do you like better?

No 2511, I think you see the 2507 which is a router with hub ports. I got a lot of my equipment from my work and some of it I've bought on my own. I lab a lot of things and its more fun with real equipment. I just got the Frame Relay router late last week from ebay. I will use it when I start ICND 2. My ICND 1 test is next week!

I love the digi! for $40 its well worth the money.

I just rebuilt my home lab, thats a good way to start off the break. I still have to do cabling, and a few other things.

Nice lab! On your computer what software do you use to simulate the VMs? I thought about putting in a few in my lab computer, and doing the same. (That is if I can finally finish Linux+ that I put on the back burner)

Got my Skeletek rack today, couldn't help but test fit the devices in it. Will need to move things around a bit and clean up wiring.

Nice @JeanM, my skeletek rack just came in the other day. I got the 16U one though. Gonna have to take some pics and post up since my lab has grown by a few devices.

Set for CCIE there. Wouldn't want to be running that in my house that's for sure. The noise and electricity bill, ahh!

ccnp for sure, have the books already

I only leave 1 switch on, rest are on when needed .

It's really basic, cm32 at the top, followed by 6 3950/t switches, 2 2621 routers, 2 2620 routers, pix firewall, 2 3620 routers (will get rid of these two to make room), 4 3640 routers, 1 3725 router and 1 3550 switch.

JeanM - VERY NICE lab rack you got there. The skeletek's are in my opinion the best lab rack. If your device list is basic then mine is pretty much nothing.

While you don't need it sometimes more gear is beneficial. I'm studying towards my CCNP switch, while I only have 4 switches I use 9 routers to act as hosts and use them for VRRP/GLGP. Will come in handy for my route exam as well. While I would never buy this much kit for a home lab (I had 4 switches, 4 routers) if it's available to use for free then fine. If money wasn't an issue, then I would have bought a lot more equipment.

Here is the latest version of my lab with a few new items (Cisco 1841, 2522, 2501, and DLI Web Power Switch 6).

And for remote management of lab equipment power up and shutdown:

I'm planning to take the same approach. Gear is expensive, and it eventually becomes obsolete. Unlike computers you cannot recycle them as easily for other uses. GNS3 + switches seems like the best approach for the CCNP series, or at least the cheapest method.

Don't tell me that's an HP Procurve as your main switch in the smaller rack. I hate them with a passion! lol
