Missing dial-peer? Toll fraud prevention? Need more info... Show run and/or debug voice ccapi inout from site b when attempting call.

This is a remote site, so I'm having to use the csim start xxxxx command to generate an outgoing call. Does this help at all?

Oh and if Site A calls Site B, they can have a two way conversation, but Site B still unable to call out. If I try to call out using CSIM the output of debug is below.

    : csim: called number = 5212, loop count = 1 ping count = 0

Lets take a look at your dial-peer..

Sorry, I was editing something else and pasted the wrong output before. (dial peer also)

The Csim output is as follows -

Can you debug the remote gateway as well and verify the call is actually making it? You are receiving disconnect cause = 18 indicating "no user responding". Also, you're hitting dial peer 20 and posted 10.

It is dial peer 20, sorry. I had someone on site test a call, and when dialing the number, it is totally silent for a short time, then "busy tone" When you say remote gateway, is this the other site i am trying to dial? Should I use the same debug command as before?
  • KelkinKelkin Member Posts: 261 ■■■□□□□□□□
yes.. Also verify what is the IP of the remote gateway. Is it 10.1.1.1?
  • controlcontrol Member Posts: 309
    Got this working.
Site A acts as a hub site almost, so all calls go through the CUCM there. Amended the dial peer at site B to use the subscribers address, as it was currently using the publishers, 10.1.1.1
I assume the publisher should have also been able to handle and deal with the calls?
  • Brad0985Brad0985 Member Posts: 7 ■□□□□□□□□□
    Glad you got it working.
Yes, it should be able to handle. May be a routing issue. Can your remote network ping your publisher?
  • controlcontrol Member Posts: 309
    Hi,

Yeah, I'm happy it's now working. Can ping the IP no problem so a bit puzzled. Anything specific I should be looking at?
