  Lotus Notes is being integrated with Workplace Messaging, which is another reason many companies are migrating away from Notes/Domino.
  
  Might want to invest in an MCP/Exchange cert instead.

  Thanks are u really sure, thouigh i read the links above, but i am being told by some in the business that ibm lotus notes is the most secure but off course it is less user friendly and that is why most big organizations are not letting it go.
  (the way it manages server cert, passwords, sessions and all that security stuff.....)
  what do u think of that.

  It is the most secure, but so was Novell.

  I'm a network admin for an insurance company with over 800 users and we currently use Lotus Notes/SmartSuite. We are an IBM e-business and have heard it from the "horse’s mouth" that support is ending for SmartSuite and that Notes will be integrated in their new product. Notes has always been unfriendly and buggy. Because some many developers wrote applications for Notes, it took a while for IBM to move forward with the transition, but all things must change.
