  I've never heard of it, either. But usually a brick is considered to be something bulky and heavy - I'm assuming it may be a splicing box. There's cheap products and expensive products. The more expensive boxes have a little video screen on it.

  Before Node Man posted that interesting device I was going to say a fiber equipment that just does not work. Brick is also known as something as a device unuseful and can be used as paperweight
