VCAP5-DCA tests on 5 or 5.1?

As the title suggests, can someone tell me if the VCAP5-DCA tests you on 5 or 5.1? I just had a look at the exam blueprint and it's got vSphere 5 all over it, but I need to be seconded by the folks on TE. I do realize that the exam experience probably remains much the same either way and 5.1 has several enhancements, I dont want any surprises. I'm about to rebuild my lab and need to get it right. Thanks.

Good to know - any word as to when it will shift to 5.1?

The exam has been upgraded to 5.x. Any questions on the exam will be the same answer whether it was running on 5.0 or 5.1.

@meadIT - Damn man, can I ask where you got that info from? Have you taken the exam recently or know someone who has? The blueprint says vSphere 5, but then the date on the blueprint is July 9, 2012 and is outdated?

I believe that Scott confirmed it as well. I can't seem to find the post.

It's not directly related to VCAP-DCA5, but I would imagine that it follows the same concepts.

I took the exam less than two months ago. There isn't anything unique to 5.1 on the test.

In the past, VMware has stated that their exams for major versions of vSphere will cover content that is in common with all the point releases (4.x exams didn't have content unique to 4.1, for example). I haven't seen (or looked for) a statement indicating the same for 5.x, but I would assume it is still the policy. VMware keeps their exam blueprints up to date... whichever blueprint you saw on their official site is the current one.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

There wasn't anything 5.1 specific on the exam I took in mid-Jan. The pdfs were 5.1.
