CCNA preparation material books

Hi there,

I want to go for the CCNA next. Already searched through the CCNA forum but did not get an answer (that satisfied me) on what book(s) to study with. I love only using only one book (or two for the ICND1+2 way), I think I do prefer the ICND1+2 way, instead of doing the one way exam.
Any recommendations?
I am not that knew to CISCO, because I took part in the CISCO netacad and studied for the CCNA (used also CISCO press, but I would like to have up to date material), but this must be about 5 years ago and I never took the challenge

Official Cert Library by Wendell Odom. Only books you'll need for CCNA

If you already started to study and have experience, the above will probably be enough for you.

Personally however, I have the Wendell Odom book for the ICND 1 & 2. I also have the CCENT for Dummies book for the ICND1 and the Sybex by Todd Lammle for ICND2. I'm contemplating on getting CBT Nuggets as well, since I think I want to pursue a career specializing in networking, so I'd wanna know this info in and out.

I found all of Wendell odom's books very dry and actually ended up donating his ICND2 book to a charity shop. What worked for me was Chris Bryant's ebook on CCENT and CCNA, coupled with his video series. I also found Router Alley's pdf book very helpful and it is free of charge last time i checked. The dummies guide is also very good and explains things in a friendly way but it does not skimp. I passed first time using these sources. Horses for courses as they say. Some people really like other material.

I am currently studying for my CCNA with the Wendell Odom CCNA official cert library (is as mentioned dry, but really breaks down and explains everything), the CCNA command guide and Todd Lammle's 7th edition CCNA book. Also, I have the CBT Nuggets videos for ICND1 and 2 which are great (Jeremy is a great instructor in the videos). I am also currently in a CCNA bootcamp that my employers are paying for and it ends tomorrow. Oh, and the CCNA for dummies book is freakin' awesome! Hope this helps!

I will start will with Wendell Odoms books, I think spending money for both the ICDN1+2 book.
To my shame I have to admit I read the topic "CCNA FAQ-Please read before posting" too late, so sorry for asking basics.
