Passed ICND2

3rd attempt.. got 916

Study material was Cisco Press ICND2 book, Free CCNA Workbook, forums (lurking mostly), Packet Tracer, GNS3 and a couple of old Routers off Ebay. Also, all the youtubes, and other vids I coud..ahem.. source..off the web.

Tough exam.

The SIMs look easy, but often have more going on than you realize.

I'm pretty sure I spotted mistake in the exam... although it was clear what the answer was, it was confusing at first..

I'd like to go for the CCNA Voice, but might be better to keep the momentum up and do CCNP Switch.

Tips -
Repetition: For example; create some Frame-Relay labs, breaks them..do them again..break them again..alter them.. change them to multi-point, then back.. re address the network..re address it again and NAT it..you know what I mean

Know your show commands: Know where to turn when you need some help

Subnetting: Different styles work for different people.. but don't stick with the first you learned.. when I found my style, I found I could subnet in my head.

Enjoy what you're doing.. I stopped for a year (failed exam in 2012) and didn't pick it up again until I had a thirst for it.
