VCP-Cloud

Just got an e-mail from VMware stating I passed the VCP-Cloud exam. I was invited to participate in the beta exam end of last year. I remember it being really long (200+ questions), but not too difficult.

Took the exam because it was half off and I didn't know I could get VCAP-CID w/out VCP-Cloud. This completes my VCP collection. Onward to VCAP/VCDX collection.

Study material were install guide, admin guide, Trainsignal & home lab.

    Congrats! Was that the beta that was at the end of December? If so, they're getting faster on the beta results.

    Thanks guys. When I got home there was letter from Pearson Vue. My test score was 347.

    @meadIT,

    According to VMware transcript, I took the exam on 12/18/12.

    Congrats Dave!
    IT guy since 12/00

    Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
    Working on: RHCE/Ansible
    Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...

    Congrats Dave!

    I suggest you change your name to VMware Dave, considering the rate at which you are passing these!

    Thanks again. :) VMware gave me the same license # for VCP-Cloud as VCP, so I have no idea how many people have Cloud cert. Other oddity is that they gave me a different # for VCP-DT.

    When I got home, there was a letter from Pearons Vue. I had passed with 347. My lowest score at VCP level, but I only had 2 weeks to study and there were 2 other 4 hour exams I took during a 20 day period.

    That's why I ended passing on taking the beta exam. I already had the VCAP5-DCA scheduled for 12/28 and was neck deep in VCDX preparation. Congrats again!

    Got my physical cert today. It also had a VCP-Cloud bumper sticker. The frame containing all my VMware certs is getting fat.
