It was harder than I thought.
All my worry about Subnetting.
Subnetting - there were maybe 2 questions. icon_confused.gif
OSI Layers - probably about 10 questions.
A few more on HW and Protocols and at what layer they exist.

Study wireless and fiber stuff.
If you do Windoz - Study MAC and Novell.
Know the ARP, PING, NETSTAT, ETC. Know them well!

Good Luck to all.

On a lighter note:

Remember, when a group of folks graduate from Medical School...
The head of the class is called a Valedictorian, what do you call the last in the class?

You still call him/her a Doctor!!!

Hey, why did the computer go to the Doctor?
He had a virus! Got that one from a first grader!

Yeah, so I do laugh at my own jokes!

Off to the Linux Forum I go...

    Grats!
Are you going to take advantage of the rollover deal to obtain the CNST Certification as well?

Thanks for clearing that up Silver Bullet :)

Although to get the CNST you need either an A+ or a CST already... Hope this helps.

Can any IT pros tell what they think of online tech degrees, I have a Bachs in Computer Systems and am currently working on a Masters and Network+, but Co's dont seem to have any regard for the virtual thing--whats up?

I agree with the MAC and UNIX stuff. I just passed with a 778. But i was pretty blindsided by the MAC stuff. The Meyers book completely glosses over MAC protocols. Everything i've seen, so far, has.

I my test was heavy on OSI, TCP/IP, and tunneling protocols. Not many scenario at all.
