Passed CCNA Voice

Hello all,

I just figured I would drop this note to let everyone know that I passed the CCNA Voice today with a 906/1000.

The exam was tough but fair. I would have loved to have some simulations in the exam, but oh well.

I used the CCNA Voice 640-461 OCG and CBT Nuggets for a lot of my study material. I have been working in VOIP for a little over a year, and it is real nice when you don't understand something to be able to jump into a CUCM or Unity box and poke around.

The only way to be successful in this field is to UNDERSTAND the material and be able to translate it to the equipment.

Memorizing things to pass exams is USELESS.

You have come to the wrong place. TE is certainly not that type of forum. I'm not even going to get into all the things wrong with what you said.

Good Job, will you go for NP Voice next or take a different track?
My advice to anyone looking to advance their career would be to learn DevOps tools and methodologies. Learn how to write code in languages like Python and JavaScript. Not to be a programmer, but a network automation specialist who can do the job of 10 engineers in 1/3 of the time. Create a GitHub account, download PyCharm, play with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Automation isn't the future, it's here today and the landscape is changing dramatically.
