[h=3]CCIE Collaboration Lab Equipment and Software List[/h]Passing the lab exam requires a depth of understanding difficult to obtain without hands-on experience. Early in your preparation you should arrange access to equipment similar to that used on the exam, and listed below:

Software Versions
Any major software release which has been generally available for six months is eligible for testing in the CCIE Voice Lab Exam.

They are using 15.2 IOS. Pretty much means that the 2800 series routers are worthless now. They are still putting SAF on the lab even though that is not going to be pushed as much. Still have PRI's. I don't see H323 Gatekeeper in there, but they still had CUBE, so I would suspect that gatekeeper can prob make an apperance. So far the changes are whats expected.

I have not looked much at the Voice track, but based on the gear listed it appears that building a home lab will be pretty expensive and out of reach for a lot of people. -

I have most of the gear for the CCIE Voice v3 exam, but having not taken the lab yet and the amount of study time it may be best to study and prepare for Feb CCIE-Collab exam.
