how much money i can expect to earn with the A+, and Net+

i just passed the A+, and Network+, and i would like to know the average salary a person earns with the A+ and Net+, iam in the Austin region

Really depends on how much experience you bring with those certs.
I'd imagine they will enable you to score a entry level position if you have no "work" experience. Check out some job-search sites and see what is offered for positions like that.

I have A+ with a highschool degree and military exeperience. I make $24k a year w/ benefits in houston. I've only worked there for 4 weeks and it's an entry level network tech job. I don't think network+ wouldve made a difference in pay.

Certifications have little or no influence on salary figures in most cases. What they do is aid the hiring person when he is faced with several candidates for a position. One has A+, one has A+ and Net+ and one has nothing - chances are that all being equal the hguy with A+ & Net+ will get the nod. However, the thing that over-rides certs is experience, both in a hiring and salary perspective.

The one thing that has the greatest influence on salary is EXPERIENCE.
