But you have to keep doing that. So best thing to do is setup the folder structure properly now. I had a scheduled task to do that pre-migration to dfs. Works, but its a bandaid fix. Also make sure your permissions are setup 100% per that link above. EDIT - Verify how this setting is configured: Computer Configuration > Windows Components > Windows Explorer > Verify old and new Folder Redirection targets point to the same share before redirecting and how it might impact your environment. This could explain the deleted files.
