Lab Equipment - What to Keep, What to Sell, What to Buy

I expect to take my ICND2 in the next couple weeks. After that, I will likely go ROUTE > SWITCH > TSHOOT > ICOMM unless Cisco decides to change the CCNA: Voice like they did with the CCIE in which case, I would have to move up ICOMM to beat any changes. That said, I currently have the following:

I was planning to sell anything I won't be needing (thinking 6 x 1760, 3 x 2950, 2 x 3550) and possibly use that to buy some better equipment, such as a Catalyst 3560. What should I keep? Is there anything else I should get for CCNP (ROUTE, SWITCH, TSHOOT)?

You have a lot of routers, you might want to unload some of those. I'd keep the switches, 2950 and above, for the SWITCH exam. Good luck

To be honest, I would keep it all. Turn one of your routers into an access server and then run your octopus cables to ALL your different console ports. Setup SecureCRT (what they use for the CCIE exams) and setup a different tab to EVERY piece of equipment. Buy some graph paper and start drawing your labs and then configuring your network.

My philosophy... you can't have enough gear. BTW, all your gear is cool and still valid. If you wish to sell, I'd be more than happy to make an offer for it but you've got enough to go through CCNP R&S and Voice (with a few phones).

    Keep it man! Get diggin'..!!
