DHCP question
tist005
Taking my icnd1 in a few days just trying to close some loose ends. I cannot seem to find any lab in my reading relating to setting up dhcp by command line. Also, how to specify what addresses are handed out. If anyone has some advice or a link to a lab it would help thanks.

It's rare that you would setup DHCP on Cisco Routers, because 99% of the business enivornments run Windows Server which handles the defining, scope, and delegation of IP Address via DHCP.
I wouldn't worry much about it, as I don't think you will probably run into the on the test.
That being said:

This will contain more than you need, but it covers creating a dhcp pool, options and exclusions.

Thanks for the fast response. I assumed it wouldn't be tested heavily, just sort of an afterthought. I'll take a gander at basic setup just in case.
